Speaker Profile

  • Nelson Low serves as Executive Director, Agricultural Products, and is responsible for driving the growth of the CME Group’s agricultural commodities product line throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Nelson joined CME Group in April 2008 and he has more than 20 years of experience in the global commodities markets. Before joining CME Group, he had worked in varied roles in commodity derivatives and trading at the Singapore Exchange (SGX), Avebe U.A. and Andre & CIE S.A.
  • Nelson has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the National University of Singapore and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Nicholas Lau

Speaker Profile

  • Nicholas joined Bursa Malaysia Derivatives in 2019 and is currently part of the Commodity Derivatives team in the Product & Market Development Department.
  • He is tasked with developing and expanding Bursa Malaysia Derivatives’ suite of commodity products in order to meet the market needs of the industry.
  • Prior to Bursa Malaysia Derivatives, Nicholas graduated from the University of Bristol in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2018.
